The BodyTree Approach is a client-centric approach, based on the belief of teaching the clients presented, as opposed to mindlessly applying a fixed sequence of exercises to any body.
During this course, you will learn the critical thinking process. This process is imperative for you to teach a class that is relevant, meaningful and effective for your clients.
The Studio Teacher Certification covers the Pilates High Barrel, Cadillac (Trapeze Table) and Wunda Chair.
You will:
– understand and learn how to do each Studio Equipment exercise well and what each exercise’s primary intention is
– learn how to look and “read” your clients’ bodies
– make informed judgements about what you see
– learn to make modifications or progressions to an exercise as required
– learn about class design and class programming
This course is required to fulfil the Comprehensive Teacher Training Track.
This program is suitable for you if you are a:
– GROUP REFORMER INSTRUCTOR who wants to expand your teaching repertoire and focus on 1-1 training
As this program is the final module for a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Certification, this is open to Pilates Teachers looking to bridge and complete their Comprehensive certification.
Pilates Matwork Certification, Reformer Teacher Certification.
BodyTree Academy’s Prehab Trainer Upper Limb and Prehab Trainer Lower Limb
Exemptions apply to the Movement Anatomy module for:
Medical Professionals (Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Medical Doctors).
Dip/Degree in Sports and Exercise Science

Please note that TTs undergoing their Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Certification will have to clock in Student Teaching and Self Practice hours.
Online Theory Test only.
For Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Certification:
Upon completion of all hours and meeting the minimum requirements of the theory, performance and teaching evaluations, the student will be awarded with a teaching certificate.

Please note that if you do not have Prehab Trainer Upper and Lower Limb certifications you would need to enrol in those programs by July and attend the review sessions in August:

This is a 45+hour program to certify you to teach the Pilates repertoire on the Wundchair, High Barrel and Cadillac. The Studio Teacher Certification course is also the a required course to complete for the Comprehensive Pilates Teacher track.
The 45+ hours are made up of:
– 45 CLASSROOM HOURS (refer to schedule)
For those pursuing the Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Program Track, additional hours:
– 15 PRACTICE HOURS: self practice/group classes with BTA/or private sessions with Pilates BodyTree (PBT)
– 15 PRACTICE TEACHING HOURS: 1-1 teaching.
The student will be awarded the teaching certificate upon completing all required hours above AND meeting the minimum requirements of the Theory, and Performance evaluations. For those pursuing the Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program, there is an additional Teaching Evaluation component.

– Learn how to look and “read” a body (your clients’)
– Make informed judgements about what you see
– Learn to make modifications or progressions to an exercise as required
Prerequisite hours :
The Studio Teacher Training Certification is SGD2,907**.
This fee consists of 45 classroom hours, Program manuals. Please set aside additional budget for rental of studio for teaching hours,* and also BTA Faculty led group classes.
