Why Movement Anatomy – Basic?

Understanding the anatomy of a human body helps us move (or teach) better. The intention of this course is to help you be more mindful about how you move, how you can move differently and better and appreciate movement!

Course Description

This course aims to provide you with a functional knowledge of the human body, focusing on:

– The language of anatomy
– Learning the active structures
– How the body is put together
– How the anatomical structures affect, control and adapt to exercise

Information will be presented in a clear and simple manner. We also encourage participants to ask questions so lots of opportunities with be available during the course for clarifications.

Prerequisites

ALL are welcomed!

– Especially useful if you are planning on becoming a fitness professional, OR
– If you are already a fitness professional, this course will be excellent as a review – definitely more interesting than studying from a textbook!
